IMAGE.DAT
The
IMAGE.DAT file contains (at a minimum) the entire UDF-Bridge
volume for the disc. On the DVD disc, the UDF-Bridge volume
is stored in consecutive 2048 byte Image Data fields within
the data area of the disc.
To
satisfy certain application requirements, the IMAGE.DAT file
can optionally store the CPR_MAI or ID, IED, CPR_MAI, and EDC
in addition to the Image data for each sector of the DVD disc.
Therefore,
the DVD Data Layout defines the following three (3) IMAGE.DAT
file formats with record sizes of 2048, 2054 and 2064 Bytes.
